Any time one of my pastors has to preach on giving, they start by acknowledging how super awkward it is to ask people to give up their money and time.
So here it is; if you like my writing, I’m asking for your support so that I can continue pursuing it in a vaguely-professional manner. I actually would like to make a career out of it one day, but I have a long way to go as a writer and I can’t do it without a supportive community behind me.
There are three main ways you can support what I’m doing at Each Passing Phase and other websites.
- Become a financial supporter of me and my friends over on Gospel-Centered Discipleship. I was recently asked to become a staff writer on this awesome website. At GCD there are a whole pack of writers, editors and board members who work hard to bring readers thoughtful, gospel-focused content. It is a benefit to all of us on the team when somebody decides to financially support GCD as a website.
- Share/like/retweet/pin/comment my posts, and recommend me for writing jobs. This last option doesn’t cost you anything but your time, but trust me when I say that this is valuable to me. Sharing my articles means more readers and more feedback. Which equals more opportunities for me in the future.
- Pray for me. Seriously, I want your prayers. Pray that I develop my gifts into something that glorifies Jesus Christ. Pray that I work hard, and pray that I have the humility to learn and improve as a writer. Prayers are priceless.
If you are supporting me as a writer, thank you so much. Your contributions help me do what I love.
